John leads Verit’s Debt Capital Markets efforts and the execution of both ESOP and non-ESOP transactions which focus on sourcing, structuring, and arranging various forms of debt or equity capital for Verit’s clients.
John has over 15 years of experience in investment banking and debt capital markets, particularly with middle-market companies and private equity sponsors in succession and liquidity transactions.
He began his career at LaSalle Bank (now Bank of America) providing debt financing alternatives such as the structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management of senior credit facilities in connection with leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth financings for leading middle-market private equity funds and their portfolio companies.
His investment banking experience was broadened at Bear Stearns & Co. and Jefferies & Company, Inc. executing a wide array of investment banking transactions across several industry groups and product platforms. John developed significant debt capital markets experience with middle-market private equity sponsors through high-yield, bank, and mezzanine debt offerings in connection with acquisition financings.
Most recently, he worked with sophisticated high-net-worth investors and leading institutional investors at Equibase Capital Group.
