Mary Josephs, Verit Advisors founder and CEO, will be participating in a panel titled “Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) – A Specialized but Powerful Exit Tool.” The one hour event will be held on March 3 in the ACG Chicago offices.

The seminar will focus on knowing when to use the ESOP structure and how to maximize the benefits for all the participants. Ms. Josephs will be joined on the panel by Diane Bell, Partner, Katten Muchin Rosenbaum LLP and Jim Rolfe, Managing Director, The Private Bank and Trust Company.

Mary Josephs is a nationally recognized leader with more than 28 years of experience with ESOPs as a specialized solution-oriented succession and liquidity transaction for middle market companies. She has advised, structured, and closed more than 300 financings and advisory projects for middle market companies. Ms. Josephs has spoken at hundreds of national conferences and frequently writes articles on issues related to succession and liquidity alternatives for closely held businesses, including ESOPs, ESOP financing, ESOP M&A, and other corporate finance solutions. She is on the Advisory Board of ESCA and is a Lifetime Member of the Board of Governors of the ESOP Association. In addition, she is a board member of Big Shoulders Fund in Chicago.
