Verit Advisors Announces Addition of Vice-President
Verit Advisors announced that Ms. Elena Black has joined the firm as Vice-President. Verit Advisors is a Chicago-based boutique investment firm with middle-market investment banking capabilities with a client-centric focus. Verit’s expertise includes ESOPs, debt and equity capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, transaction opinions and valuation services and board advisory expertise.
Elena Black brings over 18 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking advisory and valuation services. Ms. Black worked at Opportunity International, Westinghouse Electric, LLC and Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc. where she worked on the companies’ cross-border initiatives. Prior to that, Ms. Black was an analyst at PCE Investment Bankers. Ms. Black graduated magna cum laude with a BA in International Economics from Azerbaijan State Economic University and received her MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of South Carolina. Ms. Black holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) designations.
