Two Verit Advisors Present Webinar for NCEO
Brooks Myhran and Kristin Ackerman of Verit Advisors will present via webinar “Using ESOPs to Structure Acquisitions – Strategic & Practical Issues” on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11:30 AM CST. This webinar is offered by the National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) for continuing education credit.
The webinar will discuss how many ESOP companies are actively pursuing acquisitions, but without careful planning acquisitions often fail to live up to expectations. You will learn what a current or future ESOP company should consider in preparing projections about the impact of an acquisition. In addition, they will cover some of the practical issues involved in an acquisition, such as shareholder voting, harmonizing compensation and benefits, and integrating new employees into the culture. Registration for the webinar can be found at http://www.nceo.org
