Verit Advisors Executives to Present at the ESOP Association Annual Conference
The largest ESOP conference in the world will be held in Las Vegas on November 8 and 9 2018. Mary Josephs and Rob Ruszkowski of Verit Advisors will be on panels at the Las Vegas ESOP Conference & Trade Show at Caesars Palace.
Mary Josephs, Founder and CEO of Verit Advisors will be a panelist on “Negotiating Protections for the ESOP and Seller Related to Subsequent Events” on Friday, November 9, 2085 at 10:30AM. The panel will discuss post-transaction seller protections and how the trustee can protect against the company’s potential financial underperformance. Ms. Josephs founded Verit Advisors in 2009 and is a nationally recognized leader with more than 30 years of experience with ESOPS as a specialized solution-oriented succession and liquidity transaction for middle market companies. In 2017 and 2018, Ms. Josephs was selected as one of the Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A by Mergers & Acquisition publication.
On Thursday, November 8, Rob Ruszkowski will participate in a panel titled “Outside Equity in S Corp ESOP Companies.” This panel will discuss how an S-Corp can seek outside equity capital.”
Ruszkowski joined Verit Advisors in 2011 and was just promoted to Managing Director. He has a particular proficiency in sell-side M&A as well as ESOP transactions involving a diverse set of middle market companies. Ruszkowski also possesses substantial technical and know-how following a distinguished career in chemical engineering. Ruszkowski is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Employee Ownership Foundation.
