Verit Advisors Employees to Present at ESOP Conference May 11-12, 2017
Two Verit Advisors® employee will speak at The ESOP Association’s 40th Annual Conference and 26th Awards Ceremony on May 11 and 12, 2017 in Washington, DC.
Rob Ruszkowski, Principal, will speak on a panel Thursday, May 11 on “Pros and Cons of ESOP Releveraging Transactions and Other Alternatives.” This panel will share their views on how and when to use a releveraging transaction as part of your overall repurchase obligation strategy, as well as other alternative strategies. Ruszkowski joined Verit Advisors in 2011 and has a particular proficiency in sell-side M&A as well as ESOP transactions involving a diverse set of middle market companies. Ruszkowski also possesses substantial technical and analytical know-how following a distinguished career in chemical engineering.
On Friday, May 12, Mary Josephs, Founder and CEO will moderate a panel on “Growing ESOP Companies Through Acquisitions.” This panel will discuss the many complex financial, fiduciary, and legal issues involved when ESOP companies make acquisitions. Josephs founded Verit Advisors in 2009 and has nearly three decades of experience in corporate finance. She is a nationally recognized leader and has advised structured and closed more than 300 financings for middle market companies. Ms. Josephs is a past two term board member of NCEO. Ms. Josephs was named one of most Influential women in mid-market M&A by Mergers & Acquisition magazine, January 2016 & January 2017.
