Stan joined Arthur Andersen & Co. upon graduating from DePaul University, and in 1972 joined S&C Electric Company, a Chicago-based global provider of equipment and services specializing in electric power switching, protection, and control.
He retired from S&C after 40 years where he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and was instrumental in resolving challenging ownership succession issues, culminating in the establishment of an ESOP in 2007.
Stan concluded a secondary ESOP transaction in 2012 to bring the ESOP’s ownership of S&C to 100%, after which S&C elected to become an S-Corporation. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at S&C.
