Elena leads the financial analysis and modeling of valuation and transaction alternatives on a wide range of transactions and advisory services (ESOP, M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Valuation, and other corporate finance transactions).

Professional experience

Prior to joining Verit, Elena worked in Corporate Finance and Corporate Development functions at Opportunity International; Westinghouse Electric LLC; and Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc., where she focused on the company’s cross-border strategic initiatives—M&A, partnerships, divestitures, restructuring, organic growth.

She concentrated her efforts on leading cross-functional teams on deal execution, managing deal flow with external advisors and internal constituencies, financial modeling, valuations, capital structure design, capital raise, target buyer strategy, management presentations and negotiation, and implementation of best practices.

Before joining Electro-Motive Diesel, Elena was an analyst with PCE Investment Bankers where she worked on a range of valuations; sell-side and ESOP transactions within the industrials; business services; consumer products; financial services; distribution; and construction industries.
